Mr. Tawakal Ahmadyar

Mr. Tawakal Ahmadyar is the chairman of Afghanistan Center for Commercial Dispute Resolution (ACDR). He was born to a religious and intellectual family in 1978 in Panjshir Province of Afghanistan, he is the son of Al-Haj Shah Badal Khan. Mr. Ahmadyar is graduated from Ghulam Haidar Khan High School in Kabul. Because of his high interest in business, he started doing business in his teenage, and he established Ahmadyar Petroleum Company in 2004.
After establishing “Ahmadyar Group” he has obtained huge business achievements. He has played an active role in creating job opportunities, standardizing petroleum, and rehabilitation of the country. Mr. Ahmadyar has created job opportunities for thousands of people in the country.
Being philanthropist and famous, Mr. Ahmadyar established a charity foundation in 2005. He has always contributed to charities and public benefit related activities. He has taken considerable measures in order to standardize Afghan Oil and Petroleum sector, to construct and develop the country, and to expand commercial relations with the countries of the region and the world.
He has introduced the existing investment opportunities of the country to international markets through importing petroleum, construction materials, and commercial items from European and Asian countries and persuaded European and Asian traders to invest in Afghanistan.
Mr. Ahmadyar has been working as the director of the Petroleum Union since 2013 and has also worked at the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Kapisa Province.
Mr. Ahmadyar has been also one of the main entrepreneurs of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Afghanistan and has worked as the Finance Director of the board of directors from 2015 to 2019. During his job with the ICC, he had significant achievements.
Mr. Ahmadyar is also the Director-General of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment. He is a young and motivated leader of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment and has introduced a different picture of business in Afghanistan.
Being a young and one of the most successful investors in the country, he was able to get to the peak of success in a short period of time. Commitment, great-mindedness, optimism, sound relationships with the traders, investors, youths, and intellectual people of the community are traits of his personality.
Mr. Tawakal Ahmadyar is married having five Muslim and Committed children. He can speak and write in Dari, Pashto, and English.
